No Bake Snacks are healthy, easy recipes that do not requre any cooking or baking. They are great to make with children although they sometimes have chilling time at the end that my children are a little impatient about but as long as I have a distraction planned for that, it's not a problem!
Inevitably, my children will sometimes come home from school and ask for snacks that they've seen other children with at school. Rice Krispies are a popular request! So, I set to work looking at what I could do with the Kamut Puffs I'd seen at the local health food store. What I came up with was the Chocolate Kamut Crispies. They're fast, nutritious and really easy. More importantly, my children love them and one of them says he prefers them to the kind the kids at school have! The Chocolate Oat Balls are my personal favourite in these categories. Packed full of oats, they may be more popular with adults than with children. | |||||||
