Whole Wheat Apple Pocket Recipe
Ingredients

Directions
- Add liquid ingredients to bread pan.
- Add dry ingredients to bread pan.
- Form well in the flour and add yeast.
- Select the dough setting.
- When the dough cycle is complete place a third of it on a lightly floured surface and roll it out in a rectangular shape until it is thin.
- Cut the rolled out dough into 4 equal strips.
- Apply a thin layer of butter on each strip.
- Scoop a large, rounded spoonful of apple sauce (See Apple Sauce Recipe under Sauces. You will only need to make the small batch of apple sauce for this recipe) onto one side of the strip.
- Sprinkle apple sauce with brown sugar. If you are using apple sauce that does not have spices sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on as well.
- Fold the other side of the dough over and press the edges of both sides together firmly.
- Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Repeat for the other 2/3 of the dough.
Baking Instructions
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
