| Healthy Chewy Ginger Snap Cookies Recipe

  Ingredients
| 2 1/4 cups |
| Whole Grain Flour (spelt, kamut or whole wheat) |
| 1/2 tsp |
| Baking Soda |
| 3/4 tsp |
| Baking Powder |
| 3/4 tsp |
| Cinnamon |
| 1/2 tsp |
| Nutmeg |
| 1/4 tsp |
| Cloves |
| 1/4 tsp |
| Salt |
| 1/2 cup |
| Butter, softened |
| 1/4 cup |
| Milk |
| 1 cup |
| Brown Sugar |
| 1 Tbsp |
| Ginger, grated |
| 1 Tbsp |
| Water |
| 1/4 cup |
| Molasses |
| 1 |
| Egg |

  Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix first 7 ingredients together and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl mix butter, brown sugar, grated ginger, water, molasses and milk together.
- Beat in eggs.
- Mix in the dry ingredients.
- Form the dough into little balls, about golf ball sized. Place the ball on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and softly flatten with the palm of your hand. You can also use a fork for this step.

Baking Instructions
Bake at 350F for 8-14 minutes.
